The World Showcase at Epcot is one of our favorite spaces in all of Walt Disney World. It is the It's a Small World ride in park form. Visitors can explore the culture, people, and food of 11 countries spanning 4 continents. And you can do this all within a 1+ mile walk around a picturesque lagoon in Central Florida. While visiting each country's pavilion isn't nearly the same as visiting the country itself, I love how it embraces what makes us the same as people, while celebrating our wonderful differences. The World Showcase at Epcot is one of our favorite areas in all of Walt Disney World. The country pavilions give you a taste (pun intended) of the culture of each country, especially when they are staffed by natives of those countries. Yes, we know that it isn't the same as actually traveling to said country. However, it does give you some perspective on the variety of peoples, foods, customs that makes us each unique. Last year, we were able to go to the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival for the first time. We usually wind up at WDW later in the summer, but as it turns out, Little Buster graduated from High School. Instead of spending Senior Week with his friends, he wanted to go to Disney with the family! He’s such a wonderful kid. We were thrilled to celebrate his success with him.
