Welcome to the March 2023 installment of our ongoing series on Park Reservation availability. Last month we started to see reservations for the Magic Kingdom for Annual Passholders reach capacity, mainly due to the opening of the new Tron ride. This month, we are seeing a lot more parks hit their limit around the Easter holiday.
What Does Park Reservation Availability Look Like Today?
As is the case every year, crowds start to grow the week before Easter. With many school spring breaks coinciding with the holiday, more people are making the pilgrimage to WDW during this time of year. As a consequence, we are seeing Park Reservations starting to be in short supply, particularly at the Magic Kingdom.
Reservation Availability for Regular Ticket Holders
Starting this week and through Easter, there are only a handful of dates available at MK for regular ticket holders. If you are planning to visit WDW in the next few weeks and want to experience this park, your choice of dates is getting more and more limited.
We are also seeing some dates at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios start to hit their max for regular ticket holders as well leading up to Easter. Meanwhile, Epcot appears to be wide open, for now. Nevertheless, I would expect that all parks might start to hit capacity as Easter approaches. You better make your reservations ASAP if you plan to visit in the next few weeks. Otherwise, you might be completely shut out from visiting any parks!
Reservation Availability for Annual Passholders
The situation for Annual Passholders, on the other hand, is not quite so bad at the moment. While there are a few days at MK that are currently blocked out, reservations are otherwise more wide open. I am guessing that locals, who probably make up the bulk of AP holders, are planning to avoid the parks during this peak time of year.
The other good news is that once we are past the Easter holiday, reservation availability opens up completely. It is pretty much green through the end of the year!
Below I have listed the current availability, with the specific dates that are not available as of the time of the writing of this article. However, I guarantee you that this will be changing, so please check Disney’s Park Reservation website for the latest and greatest information.
AD: We hope you enjoyed this post. If you are coming to Central Florida and need a place to stay, please consider the Encore Magic Villa. It sleeps up to 12 and features a game room, theater room, themed bedrooms, and private pool… located within a short drive to the Magic!
