If you are reading this, you are probably wondering where you are. Well, friend, you are in luck. You have stumbled upon our tiny corner of the Internet known as Buster and the Banshee! What is Buster and the Banshee, you ask? Buster and the Banshee is a web site that is dedicated to all things that we find interesting, but mostly Walt Disney World. This site is brought to you by married couple Buster (the husband – he/him) and the Banshee (i.e., the wife – she/her).
First, a little bit about us. Our love of WDW started when Buster took the Banshee to WDW as a college graduation present while we were dating. That love of WDW (and each other) has only grown over the years. Eventually, we were able to share that love with our two children (son: Little Buster, daughter: Little Banshee. As a family, we have been to WDW and Central Florida dozens of times and have gained a lot of knowledge in the process.
We were (past tense) WDW Annual Passholders (lost them during COVID :-().
We are (present tense) Disney Vacation Club members.
We own a vacation home in Kissimmee which we use for our stays and rent out when we are back in the “real world”.
Now you might be asking yourself, “Why does the world need yet another website about WDW?” Good question.
Our site will bring our own unique voice to the community
I’d like to think that we are two very interesting and intelligent people whom the Internet will find entertaining. At a minimum, we find ourselves entertaining, which is really all that matters.
We will cover more than just WDW
We have many interests outside of just visiting WDW, so we hope to inject those interests into this site. If you share some of those interests, then hopefully you will find our occasional diversions interesting. If not, feel free to ignore those rabbit holes.
Our youngest daughter is differently abled. Therefore, we have a unique perspective on what is like to visit WDW for somebody who has unique challenges.
We believe that this is area of the WDW blogosphere that is under-represented. Hopefully, we can share some of our experience with the community so those who face similar challenges will learn from our experiences.
We like to have fun!
And doesn’t the world (both WDW and the world in general) need more fun?
We hope that you will stick around as we start to build content for this site. This is a part time endeavor for us. We are not professionals. We are people like you. So please cut us some slack as we continue to grow the site.
