Not to be outdone by Buster, I have my must-try list for Flower and Garden. I followed the same rules as Buster in that these are items that I didn’t try during our trip last year. Also, I noticed that Buster had a drink item on his list. Therefore, I included a bunch of drinks on my list.
Drinks
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company: Melonade
This is the only item that both Buster and I chose. Unlike Buster, I might take this with the Grey Goose Vodka!
BAUERNMARKT: Apfelschaumwein
This is a combo of sparkling wine and apple liqueur. Sounds like a great twist on a hard cider!
Lotus House: Any of the Mixed Drinks!
Lotus House has three mixed cocktails this year. I’ll take one of each, please!
- Kung Fu Master: Tito’s Vodka, Triple Sec, mango, orange juice, and soda water
- Tang Dynasty: Jose Cuervo Especial Tequila Gold, light rum, strawberry, piña colada mix, soda water, and white boba pearls
- Tropical Moon: Smirnoff Vodka, Triple Sec, passion fruit, soda water and white boba pearls
Food
Citrus Blossom: Citrus Baked Bree
This new item contains preserved lemon marmalade, limoncello-macerated blueberries, and spiced marcona almonds. Yum!
Florida Fresh: Florida Strawberry Shortcake
This new item doesn’t contain much of a description, but the picture looks amazing. Super fresh!
Refreshment Port: Shrimp Scampi Poutine, PB&J Soft Serve
Double yum!
Hanami: Sushi
This is described as “assorted Nigiri sushi with lemon-cured salmon, soy-marinated tuna, and cured mackerel”. Who doesn’t love a good sushi. Honorable mention to Frushi. Even though we had it last year, I can’t wait to try it again.
Honey Bee-stro: Pollinator Flatbread
The guide says that this contains “honey-whipped mascarpone, honey caramelized onions, blueberry gastrique, prosciutto, honey-whipped goat cheese, arugula, honey vinaigrette, and bee pollen”. Wow… so many flavors… so little time!
Magnolia Terrace: Bananas Foster Bread Pudding
It contains bananas so it’s got to be healthy, right? Right?!
I am getting hungry just typing this. Can’t wait!
